Overview

This Privacy Policy applies to Discord bots operated by the bot owner or development team. Different bots may provide different features, but this policy describes the types of data those bots may collect or process.

Our bots are designed to use only the data needed to provide their features.

Data We May Collect

Depending on the bot and its enabled features, our bots may collect or process:

  • Discord user IDs
  • Discord server IDs
  • Discord channel IDs
  • Discord role IDs
  • Minecraft usernames or other game usernames submitted by users
  • Bot configuration settings set by server staff
  • Command usage data needed to run bot features
  • Message content only when required for a specific bot feature

Our bots do not collect passwords, payment information, private Discord direct messages, presence/status data, custom statuses, activities, or full Discord server member lists unless a specific bot feature clearly requires it and the required Discord intent has been approved.

How Data Is Used

Collected data is only used to provide and maintain bot features, such as:

Account Linking

Linking Discord users to Minecraft or other game usernames.

Whitelisting

Adding submitted usernames to a linked Minecraft server whitelist.

Bot Commands

Running commands requested by users or server staff.

Abuse Prevention

Preventing spam, abuse, duplicate entries, or whitelist bypassing.

Data may also be used to enforce server configuration, limits, or permissions, and to help server staff manage bot settings.

Message Content

Some bots may need Message Content access to read normal text messages for a specific feature. For example, a Minecraft whitelist bot may read a username sent in a configured whitelist channel so it can add that username to a Minecraft server whitelist.

Message content is not used for advertising, profiling, unrelated tracking, or machine learning/AI training.

If a bot uses message content, it should only use it for the feature that requires it, such as reading a submitted username or processing a command.

Data Storage

The bots may store data when needed for bot features, including:

  • Discord IDs
  • Server configuration
  • Submitted usernames
  • Whitelist records
  • Command logs
  • Basic troubleshooting logs

Full Discord message content is not stored unless it is necessary for a specific feature, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, or server moderation functionality.

Data Sharing

User data is not sold.

Data may be shared only with services needed to operate bot features. For example, a submitted Minecraft username may be sent to a linked Minecraft server so the username can be added to the whitelist.

Data may also be shared when required by law, to protect the security of the bot, or to prevent abuse.

Data Deletion

Users may request deletion of their stored bot data by contacting the bot owner, support server, or server staff where the bot is installed.

After a valid request, stored records connected to that user will be removed where reasonably possible.

Some data may remain if it is required for security, abuse prevention, server logs, backups, legal reasons, or technical operation.

Security

Reasonable steps are taken to protect stored bot data and prevent unauthorized access. However, no online service can guarantee perfect security.

Server owners should only invite bots they trust and should configure bot permissions carefully.

Contact

For privacy questions or data deletion requests, contact the bot owner, support server, or server staff where the bot is installed.
